A Full Weekend on the Trails

I spent most of the weekend out on the trails at two races. I find, at least for myself, that training and racing makes me focus on myself too much, way too much time spent thinking about what I need and what I need to be doing - like I don't do enough of that already. Hanging out at the races; volunteering, crewing, pacing or just plain spectating is a great antidote. I'll expound more about the events later in the week. For now I hope you enjoy these videos.

Quicksilver 50k/50-mile start.

I inadvertently stood in poison oak to get this video, looking up and not looking down. No worries, this is why Tecnu is always by the shampoo.

Start of PCTR's Redwood Creek trail run that featured a 10, 20, 30 and 50k race.
