Woke up tired yet again this morning. It didn't help that I went to bed at 2AM but it was especially hard getting up this morning. This is one of those mornings that I'm glad I work from home. From my bed to the kitchen to make coffee to my desk = 5 minutes. The best part is that I don't even have to get dressed. Had to unplug the camera though, now and then I get friends who want to do video chat in the morning. I do care that I look like shit in the morning and there's no need to share that with others.
Anyway the off-season could not come any quicker, my body is so tired and worn out from a year of Triathlon and Ultra-Marathon. This past weekend I did my last event, the Quad Dipsea(4 crossings of the the infamous Dipsea course in Marin, CA) and it pummeled me to a pulp. I should write a race report on, it will be my first one if I do. I'm still hurting from that one and the real reason why I've been waking up so tired. Shoulders are just sore as heck too. I'd pay for a massage but I just bought a bunch of stuff; two pairs of my favorite trail running shoes in preparation for next year:) Hey they were on sale!, some wine, new wine glasses, chocolate, cheese and a ton of other yummy fattening food. Bring on the rain, I ain't gonna be out there anyway. Off-season is the time when I don't work out, gain weight and enjoy life away from the sports that I love. Well except for swimming, I have no love for swimming....well maybe a little.

It's that time again...
Time to start a new journal. After a year off it's nice to start again, new format too. Let's check out this blogging thing. Seems like a great and efficient way to update a whole bunch of people. Well here goes!
